Featured in the PR book! |
| My roll of Paper Towels is now my favorite sewing buddy. I use it to shape rounds when ironing (instead of a pressing ham) and when pinning- it helped me ease my cap sleeves in beautifully :) It is especially helpful with pinning neck and arm facings to keep the shape. Plus, you can flatten it slightly when you need to. |
great ideas. I use them to wrap unused cording and elastic pieces and write the sizes and types on the cardboard. Toilet paper rolls also come in hand for this use since they are smaller.

I would have never thought of using a roll of paper towels for pressing and pinning. However, now I know I'll always have one in my sewing room. Thanks!

what a clever idea!! I've also found chopsticks (the longer, fatter type) to be great pressing tools. Neat when you can use other house items in the sewing room!

Great idea. I'm just learning so I don't have all the extras.
