This weekend I attended a three day seminar to become a Sulky Certified Teacher. The seminar was excellent, the instructor Ellen Osten was great! The seminar covered Sulky products, 6 projects as well as, business and teaching information. Ellen presented each project , went over each set of instructions, followed by tips and hints on teaching the the project; after the presentation each attendee worked at their own pace and could choose to complete the previous project or move on to a new one. The class timeline was followed and all information was thoroughly covered. Ellen was encouraging, inspiring, and made the weekend alot of fun with her wonderful sense of humor. The "teacher's kit" was a large box with the projects bagged seperately, a generous selection of Sulky stabilizers,
thread and other items neede to complete the class work. There were plenty of extra goodies in there as well. In my opinion the $499 seminar fee was worth it and I would attend another one in the future. |
