This class was taught by Jan Bones from Lingerie Secrets and was a 1 hour class at the American Sewing Expo. Jan was very knowledgeable and her class flew by as she explained 4 different camisole/nightie patterns and how to fit them, sew on different lingerie fabric and creative design ideas. She taught with a combination of handouts, trunk show, overhead projector and a flip board to write on. She had a clear presentation with lots of great information. Her trunk show is beautiful. This was a very well done class that you could walk away with inspiration but also some very practical tips for improving your sewing. I then went to her display and purchased 7 of her patterns. (okay I'm a sewing addict!) In the last month I have made 1 nightgown of her empire camisole/nightgown pattern from some lovely silk from China that my husband brought home from one of his business trips. The fabric has just been waiting for the right pattern and I am thrilled with the finished nightie. I have also sewn 2 sets of her woven camisole and yoga pants as gifts. I have fabric to make more Christmas gifts from her pattern line. I will be posting reviews when I get some time, but for now I will just say they are well designed patterns and a lot of fun to sew.

	janet said... I have taken several classes from Jan at the Chantilly Expo Center, Chantilly, VA. All of the classes I have taken from her have been excellent. Her patterns "work" and the quality of the fabric she sells is excellent. 10/20/08 6:50 PM
