This class was taught by Annie Diaz, an employee of Haberman Fabrics in Royal Oak, Michigan. The class was well attended by 12 individuals.
The class was 3 hours long and Annie is a wealth of information. Fast Fit was highly recommended by Annie, and those techniques were utilized, although she said those were the techniques she had been using long before SB put it in a book. We learned how to adjust the arm hole, correct for droopy shoulders, a low or high bust, low or high waist, waist and hip corrections, pants and crotch length and how to adjust for a tush, or no tush as the case may be. And she also assisted individuals with their issues fitting them selves that might not have been covered in the book.
It was a great class, it made the book so much less intimidating (which was why i have been so lost). I am very happy I attended and for $20, it was a steal!!
Once again a great class by Habermans! I am looking forward to making many more garments with an increased level of confidence. |
Thanks for the review. I am also from MI and have had some wonderful classes at Habermans. I'll look for another fitting class by Annie based on your recommendation.
