| After leaving my seam ripper on the kitchen counter one day, I discovered that it works really well to open anything that is sealed with those darn plastic wrappers that you can't get your nails under. I also have used it to tear open sealed bags (such as a cake mix) so that the contents don't fly everywhere when you tear them open. |
That is a good idea. I never use my seam ripper while sewing as I'd rather use sharp pointed end scissors. Now I can toss the seam ripper in the kitchen drawer and put it to use. Thanks!
