If you have ever wondered how all those beautiful Couture garments are constructed and what they look like on the inside, this class is for you. You will spend 5 days in a workshop setting learning the Couture techniques that go into making a one-of-a-kind garment that make them so special. You will begin to understand why a Couture garment cost so much money--most of the construction is done by hand. Even if you don't have the time (or desire) to make a garment completely in Couture fashion, you will learn valuable techniques that can be incorporated into your daily sewing that will greatly improve the look of your garment. This is not a sewing vacation, but an intense 5-day workshop. If you have ever read some of Claire's articles that are published in various magazines, wondered about the construction and wanted to know more--this class is for you. You will not be disappointed.

There is entirely too much information to post specifics about the experience. Each day is a full 8 hours of non-stop couture techniques, including Claire demonstrating a specific technique, looking at garments that incorporate specific techniques, and the attendees making samples of the techniques to take home with them.

Unfortunately, this review sounds more like an advertisement than a review. I would like to read more details about the experience itself.
