If you have ever wondered how all those beautiful Couture garments are constructed and what they look like on the inside, this class is for you. You will spend 5 days in a workshop setting learning the Couture techniques that go into making a one-of-a-kind garment that make them so special. You will begin to understand why a Couture garment cost so much money--most of the construction is done by hand. Even if you don't have the time (or desire) to make a garment completely in Couture fashion, you will learn valuable techniques that can be incorporated into your daily sewing that will greatly improve the look of your garment. This is not a sewing vacation, but an intense 5-day workshop. If you have ever read some of Claire's articles that are published in various magazines, wondered about the construction and wanted to know more--this class is for you. You will not be disappointed.

	Alania said... There is entirely too much information to post specifics about the experience. Each day is a full 8 hours of non-stop couture techniques, including Claire demonstrating a specific technique, looking at garments that incorporate specific techniques, and the attendees making samples of the techniques to take home with them. 6/15/10 1:24 PM
