I have a magnifier lamp and I was not keeping it covered so a thick pattern book which was beneath the magnifier was a little burned by the sun which was shining that day and burned a hole in my book .I noticed that in the evening before I went to bed so I was lucky that I was at home .NOW I ALWAYS KEEP MY MAGNIFIER COVERED WHEN NOT IN USE.
