Keep a pad of sticky notes and a pen by your machine to take notes of any last minute changes you made and want to remember for the next time.
Sometimes, I have to take something in alot and I'll quickly jot it down so I can alter the pattern or I'll think of a different way to make something easier or better and I'll write that down because my simple brain is already on overload.

If I am in the middle of a project, I'll write down what the next step I need to do so when I return I don't have to figure out what is next. I like using sticky notes so I can place it on the pattern envelope cover until I get around to making pattern adjustments.

This is a great idea! I never remember where I was when I come back to a project.
