This was a hands-on all day workshop. It was chocked full of tips and techniques for making the most of your sewing time. Some of the techiques were new to me but I was plesantly surprised to learn that I had already incorporated many of the techniques into my sewing repertoire. The Islander System takes a little getting used to but once you start to incorporate the techniques you'll wonder why you ever sewed any other way. I am happy to hear this. I plan on taking the training to become a certified Islander instructor one day in my future! I also worked in the industry and I am particulalry fond of the techniques as that is how I was trained but there is more to learn from them. much more
