Certified Islander Sewing Systems Instructor, Mickey will teach the secrets of industry sewers for handling curves, crossing seams, no fuss marking, setting, zippers, finishing waistbands, cuffs, collars and many more time saving techniques. Sew faster and easier with professional results. At the end of the clas you have saples for future rererence. No Pins. No basting. No kidding.

This was a hands-on all day workshop. It was chocked full of tips and techniques for making the most of your sewing time. Some of the techiques were new to me but I was plesantly surprised to learn that I had already incorporated many of the techniques into my sewing repertoire. The Islander System takes a little getting used to but once you start to incorporate the techniques you'll wonder why you ever sewed any other way. Mickey's laid-back, humorous delivery will have you sewing faster and more efficiently in no time.

I am happy to hear this. I plan on taking the training to become a certified Islander instructor one day in my future! I also worked in the industry and I am particulalry fond of the techniques as that is how I was trained but there is more to learn from them. much more
