I know there have been many tips and ideas posted on PR for Fabric organising, but I had to post this.
Whilst bargain hunting in Walmart yesterday I came acrossa Floss Organiser Polybag System.
It was in the sale for $1.25, (reg. $1.95). It contains 36, 5"x3.5" Zip lock bags, and a binder ring.
The bags have a space on the front for info about what is inside.
I bought 3 lots of these bags because this is the best swatch carrying idea I've heard yet...
This is why:
1. They are all reusable.
2. The bags are big enough to hold a good sized swatch along with any information on paper.
3. They are waterproof.
4. Quick and easy identification and matching at a glance.
5. The binder ring is easy to open, incase you just want to take along one or two swatches.
