I took this class with Fran Knapp Kilty at the Falls Church location. My skirt is wearable AND cute. It is a denim pencil skirt from a Burda pattern I can't recall right now.

The class was taught in two sessions from 11:15 to 5:45. The pace was a little slow because the teacher is a bit quirky and likes to talk about a bunch of random things. But because the number of students was less than usual (4 instead of 8), we were able to complete the project in time. She taught a lot of good techniques and explained *why* you should do things a certain way. I think the why helps a newbie remember the rules better. I'll definitely take another class at G Street, but may try another teacher.
