I have made scarves and ponchos with those wonderfully soft fleece blankets. They turn out pretty but can be messy when cut with fly-away fuzzies and static cling causing fringe to stick straight out. I have found a solution to tame both those problems. After I have cut all fringe and edges, I throw the item into my dryer by itself with a dryer sheet, no heat or low heat, and tumble for about 15 minutes. Just look in lint trap (be sure to clear it out!) to see where all those fly-away fuzzies have gone :-)
