Do you own any sewing dvds?

Make the best use of them by watching/listening to them
when you are sewing /cooking/pampering etc...

Don't just watch them once or twice and be done with them.

Watch/listen to them over and over again - you'll be surprised at how much you learn and re-learn if you do this regularly.

You'll really get your money's worth and be so much savvy-er!

I am a sewing instructor and when I am doing some mindless work (bubbling paperwork attendance sheets), I slip in a dvd and listen.

I always learn something new or am reminded of something I have forgotten. I'm so much more knowledgeable because of this little habit. I also always have a sewing book or a copy of a chapter that I carry in my bag for those long lines at the market .
