| This class is offered by Haberman Fabrics and the instructor's name is LUCKY WEDDIGEN. The cost of the class is $20 for 1 session for 3 hours. I learned about various types of knit fabrics and the types of garments you can make with them. Samples of 20 fabrics were given to the class as well as a detailed handout. We learned about the texture, stretch, and weight of a fabric, as well as, how to select the proper interfacing, caring for the fabric, and selecting the proper fabric for the garment you are going to make. We also learned how to convert a pattern suggesting the use of a knit fabric to a woven fabric - very helpful. I rate this class an A+. It was worth the 1 1/2 hour drive to take it. |
