If you are like me, no matter how carefully I cut fusible fleece, it never fits my fabric piece. Here's my solution:

When working with fusible fleece, do not cut out the fleece using the pattern piece. Instead, put the fleece on the cutting table glue side (rough side) up. Place the fabric piece that is to be fused to the fleece right side up on top of the fusible fleece. (In other words, the wrong side of the fabric is facing the glue side of the fleece.) Cut the fleece using the fabric instead of the pattern piece as the template. Without separating the fleece and the fabric, take them to the ironing board and fuse. Trim any excess fleece.

This method also cuts about 10 minutes off of your of your cutting time.
