|I loved taking Jean's class!
Let me set-up by saying that I've always been curious about this technique and have read several versions of people trying with trashbags, packaging tape, etc. I've heard about people passing out while being taped. So, I've been curious. But more for the process than the end product.
What I got out of the class (besides a great look-alike):
-- Jean's technique is years of experimenting and refining.
-- Every bump that I have, my clone has.
-- Never was I uncomfortable, nor did I pass out.
-- Jean's method of stuffing and making a cover result in a dressform that I can pin into.
-- Jean's method of creating arms is fantastic and, yes!, the do look like my arms (wish I had worked out more)
-- Jean also gave us tips on how to adjust our forms if we lost some weight.
I did this with my ASG group. After we finished our dressforms, Jean guided us to putting on the design lines. It helped to understand how to do the design lines because now I understand better how to alter my garments and envision how they should look.
Jean is a fantastic lady with a great way to teach and guide, as well as a wonderful personality.
