As usual a fun show. A large spectrum of quilt styles, from the traditional pieced patterns to the mod and post expressionist art quilts. A wonderful exhibit of WWII Victory Quilts was shown, and these quilts were both poignant and inspiring. The vendors were from a variety of locations, including North Dakota, California and the long arm quilt folks in from Utah. Several long arm quilter machine vendors were there. The mainline sewing machine companies were well represented as usual, and Bernina, Janome, Pfaff were well attended. The new Janome 7700 seemed to be the most attended machine, with a crowd around it every time I went by. I don't do the classes, but the classes were well attended and I know the attendance was good. I do think the festival was a bit smaller this year, both in vendors and attendance, but I think that is due to the economy not a lack of interest. AND to top it off, my two PR friends and I met another PR member, and had lunch - so all in all a terrific day! I did post a photo of three of us in the boards. :)

Sometimes it seems like such a long time to wait for this show to come around on the calendar, and then 'poof' it's all done. I didn't take a class this year but met up with some friends, stitched up some UFOs, immersed myself in the show, white-gloved, and enjoyed the whole time. The Viewers Choice quilt was spectacular, but sadly I didn't have my camera with me.
