The underlying philosophy of these sewing classes is about the fundamentals of sewing and construction. You do leave with finished projects but the classes aren't about the finished project. They're about all of the elements that go into that particular project but can be duplicated in many applications (e.g. how to make something lined or reversible, how to install a zipper, how to make pleats, darts, make something gathered, make bias tape). I thought that this class was excellent.
