As someone who has not sewn in over 12 years, I decided it was best to take several classes before diving in again. Keep in mind that I consider myself an advanced beginner.
This is my second online class with Susan. Her class material is detailed, well organized and easy to understand/follow. You are given the materials a little in advance and it is up to the participant to purchase any supplies necessary and make the samples prior to the chat. Once the chat occurs, one may ask any questions of Susan and/or the other participating members.
Susan has a wonderful demeanor online and answers any and all questions clearly and concisely. She makes re-entering the world of sewing a joy.
I also found the other participants in the class were very helpful in that they asked questions about problems they encountered re: the techniques being taught and/or even made very helpful suggestions.
I am very happy that I took this class as I learned 10 really great techniques that I will definitely use in the future. I strongly suggest that if one really want to take their sewing to another level, you take Susan's class.
I plan on taking any and all online classes that Susan has to offer as well as several of her in person classes. |
