This was a two day workshop in the UK to learn to make a bra. The first day is spent constructing a sample full cup bra in your own size. It has to be said that this isn't a pretty bra, but it is then used at the end of day one as a fitting device to tweak your pattern so that future bras will fit you perfectly.
After the pattern has been altered you spend the second day making up a bra in some of the gorgeous fabrics you find in Alison's shop. My pattern was altered to reduce the height of the cup and I produced a lovely red bra with pink flowers embroidered over it.
The class moved quite quickly and although I was able to keep up I did find myself constantly one of the last to finish a section - mainly because of time I wasted unpicking things. This wasn't a problem at all except that I missed out on learning about padded bras which some of the attendees were able to get to.
This is a great course if you enjoy going home with something that you can wear, but doesn't cover the same breadth of techniques covered by similar courses (e.g non-wired bras).
Sounds great, whereabouts in the UK are you?
