This is a weekend course about bra making. The first day is spend constructing a full cup, partial band bra, to your own measurements which you provide before the course. The pattern has been prepared for you, the fabric already cut out, so you don't waste any time doing all of that; you can just concentrate on learning how to put a bra together.
The second day is when you get to play with the possibilities of bra making. The morning is spent learning how to make pattern adjustments to ensure that your bra will fit perfectly. This included adjustments for centre front standing away from breastbone, straps slipping off your shoulders, breasts pointing east west, band the wrong size when the cups fit, hooks eyes too long/short for the pattern, changing a partial band to a full band and adding a power bar.
In the afternoon you put together some more samples - a padded cup, a cup made with a power bar and a sample of a full band bra with a cut away lace cup.
I learnt so much on this course and came away absolutely buzzing with ideas. I highly recommend the course. |

Hi. You don't mention where this class was - is there a website? Thanks, Tracy

It sounds great. Where in the UK was this course? I would have loved to take it. Eileen
