Did you know that you can use the STANZA App to download and read your online sewing magazines (like Through the Needle) and other online publications (pdf or epub)?

Open Stanza, go to Get Books, then Shared, then Edit. A screen will present with ADD BOOK SOURCE. When you click on it you can add the Name of your Magazine and enter the URL. From then on it will show up directly as a Book Source under your Shared menu. Now when you go there you will be able to click on the issue that you want to download and it will let import it into your Stanza Library.

You can even edit the name of the file within the Stanza App so that you can find it again. This is a great feature because if you have ever tried to download these types of pdf links in another program you generally end up with unrecognizable file names (strings of letters and numbers) that you can't change without using a regular computer.

Hi Lucy. It really depends. I love having a printed magazine - just easier for me to read. But I do like the PDF formats to browse while waiting (like for dr apts., etc). My BabyLock and Bernina dealers put out online PDF newsletters that I can browse dates of classes and sales and add to my calendar or save the coupons for use.
