This was my first PR online class. It included PDF downloads, boards and live chats. There were 15 lessons and 4 chats in all and open boards. The class covered not only fitting the sleeve and armhole but also quite a bit on fitting the bodice. In the class we drafted our own sleeve and learned how to "read" our muslin. You could also post pictures of yourself wearing the muslin and Sarah Veblen, the instructor, would go over what changes to make.

At first it seemed overwhelming and I felt I was falling behind (along with others) but was assured by Sarah to take our time and get it right. She also kept the boards open for 3 weeks after the class ended.

I have to say I was hesitant about spending the money on this but it was well worth it. Sarah had so much information to offer and was well organized. She was prompt in answering everyone's questions and the chats were informative and fun to participate in.

I have been sewing for many years, yet there is still so much more I can learn. I am so glad I enrolled in this class, I have already signed up for more.

Kathy, I'm very glad that my class was helpful to you. There's no doubt that sleeves and armholes are difficult, but it's because they are complicated -- not because there's some inherent mystique to them. I couldn't agree more that there's always something else to learn in sewing! Keep up the good work, and I hope to see you in another class soon. Sarah

I can't say enough how much this class was worth it. I barely need a pattern any more to make a top or blouse because I now know how to draft or change everything to fit. I've taken Sarah's other classes, too, and she always has endless patience with all our questions!

I have taken several of Sarah's classes on advanced concepts as well as an in-person class and she never disappoints! She is very knowledgeable and generous with her time. I am glad you came to the same conclusion. Happy sewing!
