I had a hard time stitching the vinyl on a purse I was making. This wasn't a normal kind of vinyl. It is very thin. Too much handling totally destroys it. My needle kept skipping stitches. After almost becoming bald from pulling out my hair :-) I found a bottle of Sewers Aid and used that every few stitches. It worked great! Sewers aid
