Those of you who use the little pink bobbin keepers to keep your bobbins tidy.
Often times the keepers are stretched from being stored on a full bobbin. This makes them useless for the not-so-full bobbin. The solution to this small but annoying problem is to boil them! Just stick them in a saucepan with an inch or so of water and boil for a few minutes. They will return to the original shape. Cool before using by running cold water over them or just letting them set. You may also do this in the microwave, using a microwave safe dish.

I had to look up what a pink bobbin keeper is. Since I don't have one, I would probably would steer away from them, hearing that they stretch out. Good solution for those who have one already though!

Great tip! I don't use these, but my good friend swears by them. I'll pass this information on to her!

I LOVE THESE and have tons of them because I can't stand messy bobbins. I call them bobbin bikinis. So glad to hear there's a solution to them stretching. Wonder if zipping them in a mesh bag and throwing in the washer/dryer might be similar. Probably not as effective. Thanks for this tip!
