This book is reviewed as being both logical and easy to understand. Each procedure is clearly identified and illustrated. It includes information concerning methods for working with multi-sized patterns and instructions for correcting garments with more than one fit problem.
It covers several alteration methods: seam, pivot and "corrected" slash methods. It is considered to be the most comprehensive book on the subject to the extent that it is reviewed as the only book needed for pattern adjustments if it is joined with the Palmer/Pletsch books "Pants for Every Body" and "Fit for Real People".
In other words, consider it the the big book of sewing, the bible of sewing.
The list price is $101.50.
Amazon sells it for $93.63
Others sell it for up to $139.62.
Some things are painful, I know. Buy it! (If the budget allows. Pray hard.)

Ooops? Should this be in the " book Review" section, rather than Tips & Techniques? Sounds like a good book, though and one to look out for. Thanks, monijo.

Yes, I know it seems so. However, since I have not read the book, I didn't think it should go there. But if it is an "oops", it should be deleted. Thanks.
