| This expo is the biggest sewing expo in the US. This year the show is March 3-6th, 2011. It is held at the Puyallup Fair and Events center. All I can say is the best of the best at this show. There are so many people from around the world at this show. The classes are the best and the vendors are well just say the first day I made 3 trips to my car and that was in between classes. The second day all I did was watch free shows and shopped more. I really enjoyed Connie Crawford's class and yes I actually won a door prize....whooo...It was wonderful metting Connie and her crew at her booth. I next got to meet Sandra Betzina, all I can say is she is such a great woman, and of course I bought her two newest books and a pattern and had them all signed by her! I went to the Simplicity booth and I not only got to meet Suede but, I had my picture taken with him and we talked more in depth about a men's pattern line from him( My 20 yr..DS can never find clothes he likes), This guy is just awesome!!!! I was able to talk to him for about 1/2 hour one on one and he rocks!!!! So, all I can say is if you get a chance to come out to the Northwest for theis Expo, please do!!! You won't be disappointed, oh, and by the way did I tell you the shopping is WOW, between Vogue Fabrics, Sew Baby, Sulky Threads and ect, it's WOW. You will not be disappointed!!!! |

Two of my sewing buddies make the trip out there from MN and they too love love this expo. Each year they come back we all get so jealous! Maybe next year...

Laurie Lou, you have to go!!! It's such a blast, there's so many friendly people, everywhere you turn someone is always saying hi, and I've made such great friends!!!!
