I recently bought some twin stretch needles to use to hem my knit tops. They are the best! They are easy to use and give a very professional look. I have tried various techniques for hemming knits but none work as well as the twin stretch needles. I was lusting after a coverstitch machine until I discovered them. No more.

Good idea, I will have to buy some of those, I have the same problem. I don't want to buy a coverstitich serger when I already have one

Thank you for your review; I am preparing to make some girls' capri leggings, and I too, have bought twin stretch needles. (Hard to find!)

Twin needle is a very useful tool when you sew knits. Did you try with other decorative stitches? I like feather stitch and flindhem stitches with twin needles. They are pretty, and sort of mimic the cover stitch machine stitches.
