After you have made a body mold and crotch curve template of your body space for adjusting your pant pattern, you need to learn how to use it. I found a blog article that explains how to align your pattern, position your template on the pattern, and draw the corrected lines. It includes text and photos.

Want to make a body mold with tin foil? Search in the PatternReview Tips for "Find your Crotch Curve/Body Space with Foil!"

-----9/23/2014 update-----------
The mccalls.com.au web site is no longer active. I wrote the main mccalls.com web site to ask about this article.

All I can find at this time is the single photo from Pinterest which shows that the template is used for the bottom curve only -up to the hip line. http://www.pinterest.com/pin/75927943692773163/

"We donít have the article online, but it is from this issue of Vogue Magazine Vogue Patterns Magazine June/July 2009

Great--thank you. I own practically every available tool and gadget on the market but don't have complete instructions on how to use the things! I would appreciate a book written on how to actually use all the toys out there for sewing.
