When I catalog my patterns they are always sliding out of the sheet protector. To stop the patterns from sliding, I add a sheet of paper inside the sheet protector with the pattern. Then I stapled the sheet of paper to the plastic sheet protector by the hole. This way I can still get the pattern out if I need it.
* Another quick tip since the paper is in there, I put two pattens in one sheet protector. One on each side of the paper. This saves money and make less bulk in the binder. |
How does it make less bulk w/ 2 patterns

It is kind of hard for me too explain, but the more sheet protectors you use the more bulk. When I first started cataloging my patterns I had 1 pattern for every sheet protector and my binder started getting filled quick. So I tried the 2 in one sheet protector and was amazed at how much space I had left in my binder. Try it on a smaller version with four patterns. Use two sheet protectors with two patters in it. Then compare it with the same four patterns in there own individual sheet protector
