I signed up for this class last year as my first introduction to learning to sew. I ended up pretty disappointed and feeling like it was over-priced for what it actually offers. I learned a lot more from just buying an introductory sewing book (SEW Everything Workshop by Diana Rupp) and just looking up free online tutorials and youtube videos. I would recommend an absolute beginner buy a good learn-to-sew book (less than $20 on Amazon) or spend the money to get real-life instruction at a community center or other local option.

Pros: they present a lot of cute projects with great step-by-step photos (I found the projects by Rachel to be the best ones); there's a friendly tone and nice vintage-y aesthetic

Cons: most of the projects are standards from any beginner sewing book and/or can be found for free online on a number of other blogs/sites by doing a google search, you don't get any interaction from the "teachers" and the comments on the posts do not answer all the questions that come up; it's a fairly expensive price for a collection of projects you can find free elsewhere

Thanks for the review. I always wonder about these e-classes. I can cross this one off my list.
