Aside from storing them in plastic bags in pattern boxes, I am using Microsoft's OneNote to create a digital notebook of all of my patterns. It indexes itself auomatically so it can easily be searched by any keywords. It's very easy to use and any photos, text, links can be copy & pasted easily from anywhere on your computer, including the Web. The notebook can easily be shared digitally as well.
