As I strolled the aisles of the Dollar Tree store I was taken by those large plastic containers for the three or four week supply of multi vitamin pills. Sure enough, the four week, seven day ones are perfect for storing bobbins....and you can see through their opacity for the color of thread. The other size vitamin containers are just the right size to hold sewing machine feet. At only $1.00 you can have several on hand and be organized. Go look, you'll love it!

Fantastic! Might be a good idea to take along one of your bobbins to check and see if the container will accomodate your size bobbins. ( for example: my Side Winder will not take the bobbins for one of my friends machines.)

That is such a great idea. I was thinking about getting one for pills, now I want one for sewing.

Great idea! Keeps things clean as well. Currently I use tiny ice cube trays for my bobbins. They work very well but can get very dusty. This idea solves that problem.

Some sewers label vitamin container compartments with machine needle sizes and sort their sewing machine needles. This keeps the needles organized and handy.
