This was a very good class. I have been sewing with knits since the 80's but decided that I would like to know more 'technically' about the different knits I use and love. This class did that and much more.
I very much like the PDF lesson, message board, and chat format. It helps me complete the class in a timely manner. The lessons were very well prepared, logical, and had great illustrations. I loved the fact that samples were provided to follow along with the lessons for 'hands on' learning. The materials and instructions for half-size patterns and materials provided a wonderful a wonderful opportunity to actually make two half size tee shirts and compare the different results with different knits.
There were video segments available for this class but I chose not to purchase them as I am not necessarily a visual learner. I prefer paper to refer to. I am sure that the video would be icing on the cake and a perfect complement to the PDF's.
The chats provided opportunity to learn some wonderful fitting tips and sewing techniques from Sarah as well. This was my second Sarah Veblen class and I will definitely be taking more. She is an incredible instructor.
