I needed to make over 35 feet of piping with thin rat tail cording. I had just watched a Fons and Porter show where they made piping using a piping foot. I thought I had one but I was mistaken. I got to looking at the plastic invisible zipper foot for my Juki and thought I would give it a try. I had the cording in the right side grove and then I moved the needle position as far to the right as I could which was position 4.4. As the material was feeding thru the machine I kept my finger against the cording to help keep the fabric tight. It worked like a dream.

Great tip! The feet for my Viking are very expensive and since my dealer quit selling Viking, hard to get. Yay, double duty!
