| For my latest project, I'm working with linen. Linen is a wonderful fabric to experiment with. It's typically a loosely woven fabric with interesting slubs in the fibers. It's a fabric that without too much manipulation will unravel and drive you nuts OR you can use it to your advantage and get creative with it. I decided to play around with it and make my own fringe and I'll show you how I tamed the "beast" !! With all the emphasis on the beloved Chanel Jacket these days, this process could also be used to make fringe out of your favorite tweed to trim your version of the Chanel Jacket. I hope you find this pic-torial helpful!! |
I like the idea of using the decorative stitch when making the fringe.
