Here's an ideal way to prevent the foot controller from sliding on the floor: It is "Sticky mat" I found on Amazon.com. The thing is about 4x6", extremely sticky and designed to keep sunglasses on the dashboard of the car. But it leaves no residue when removed from the floor. When it gets dusty, just wash with water and a bit of liquid detergent... clip to a hanger until it's dry and it's good as new. I have also cut pieces and placed them in front of my sewing machine. This keeps scissors, bobbins, machine feet from diving onto the floor. Lots of uses for this item. Buy a bunch and give them to sewing friends. They're only about $1 each, often with free postage.

Here's the item "Sticky pad" found on ebay Nov 13, 2013 http://www.ebay.com/itm/5Pcs-Car-Dashboard-Sticky-Pad-Magic-Anti-Slip-Non-slip-Mat-Iphone-5-key-Holder-/310764220636?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item485afdb0dc

They are also on Amazon.com. Availability of items for sale both at Amazon and ebay is unpredictable. If you want to find this item, just keep looking.

A link would be nice! I went to amazon and didn't see anything for a dollar or that looked like it could be cut up.
