Anyone with a young one or one in the family:

Use those empty wipes containers to store notions, thread, measuring tools, etc!
Being short on space and money for an actual storage system, I started saving the containers and using them to keep things in arms reach.
Containers which don't have the small opening for feeding the wipe up are better than ones that do. The pop open top makes it a cinch to open and grab fast.
My sewing area is in the corner of our garage, so I have peg boards all around me and I just tack the wipes containers up to the wall.
They work for me and they are free (after the wipes, that is.)
