I unwound the bobbin and then oiled it with singer machine oil, and proceeded to wind the unit again!!! Worked like a charm.. The COld temperatures of winter affected the bobbin during winding, I kind of wondered. I read a review about plastic bobbins, but this problem is also with Metal bobbins, this is a first for me!!! FYI I freaked out, just to trouble shoot and I thought I could pass it on, as the tip to unwind the unit after searching on google led me here!!!!
So in turn one good turn deserves another so maybe I have helped someone out there I hope someday who will have the same problem with A METAL BOBBIN STUCK DURING WINDING OF THREAD...Unwind the unit, then it comes off tightly, I had to pull it off...then oil with singer machine Oil!!!
