+ For joining concave/convex seams, a seam allowance of 3/8" or less is easier to work with than 1/2" or 5/8"

+ Use small straight pins, use them sparingly and in the direction of your stitch line.

+ Stay stitch the convex side just a hair more narrow than your seam allowance.

+ If sewing the seam flat down on the table is troublesome, try arcing the seam upward working in a tubular motion (like how the tail of a scorpion curves up)
+ Stitch with the convex side up, this allows you to "cradle" the excess cut line of the convex evenly onto the more brief cut line of the concave.

+ Remember "concave" is the inward curve... memory jog: bats in a cave.

Here is a link to the video and a few still shots.
These are brief videos in short segments straight to the point!
I'll talk about my dog some other time (I don't have a dog, acutyally lol)

Sewing Curved Seams with Catina

My apologies for the auto focus being engaged- I didn't learn how to disable this until after I posted these videos.

I have posted a downloadable pdf of these dummy pattern pieces for anyone who wants to practice to perfection!
You can get it here
