Featured in the PR book!
I have had a sewing/craft rooms set up for me with a counter (sewing machine height),base cabinets on each end, and cabinets overhead. It's great. However, I need somewhere to put my pattern (not on the counter). I have two corkboards on the wall behind my counter. That's not too unusual. However, I also put strip magnets all around the outside of the corkboard to hold bobbins, safety pins, needles, etc. I also use the cork boards to hold scissor pockets, hemostats for turning tubes, etc. It works great.

I hope someone else can take this hint and run with it. It certainly has helped me.

I did something similar but I put two cup hooks along the top wood strip and hung two spring loaded clips from them, then I clip my pattern instructions to that, so I don't leave pin holes in the instructions. Then underneath are all my notes, tips, etc which are easier to access
