Instead of sewing the shoulder strap and turning them. I just pressed seam allowance towards the wrong side and topstitched strap and self linning together much quicker.

I do this also, it is so much better than turning those little tubes.

I too do this all the time. It's so much easier, and I think in most cases it looks better anyway. And it keeps my stress level down!
