Featured in the PR book!
When you have a pressed out seam allowance [1.5cm] and want to make a casing stitch down the edge of the seam allowance for the depth of the casing. Then make casing. When you thread elastic through it will go over the seam allowance easily and without any bunching up.

The seam allowances really can hold you up, when trying to get the elastic past them...good tip. Sometimes I fuse them down in the casing area to help this problem, too.
