Ok, I'm giving it three stars because this is the first expo I've been to and I have nothing to compare it to...but I really enjoyed it. I took classes from Peggy Sagers, Cynthia Guffey and Emma Seabrooke, looked at the garments for the Threads design challengs (one of my favorite ongoing features in the magazine) up close and personal, met ladies whose patterns I've made (Louise Cutting and Linda Lee) and bought some outstanding fabric.
The Atlanta-area venue is great...the facility is absolutley gorgeous, out in the suburbs (Duluth, to be precise) and has (shock) free parking! I talked to different ladies who had been to previous expos in that location; they all seemed to think that the show this year had more vendors than had been there in the past. I know there were a couple I missed; I squeezed my classes, shopping and exhibit oogling into Thursday afternoon and Friday.
I did learn new things from each of the classes I took; I'm really hoping to make it back next year!
