With the challenge of doing multiple dresses of the same pattern in varying sizes came the challenge of keeping it all straight! I was walking thru the office supplies of my local drugstore and picked up a pack of Post It Flags, which came in a handy little dispenser and in 4 colors. I used a different color for each person to label the piece with their name, name of piece (ie "bodice front side" or "skirt back") and "liner" if it was the liner, etc.
I only lost one or two flags from the fabric pattern pieces, and the flags did not damage any of the silk.
