| A good way to pick up dropped pins and needles off the floor is a mechanics tool that is a pen-sized telescoping magnet. My husband suggested it and bought it at an auto parts store. |
This is a timely tip; lately there seem to be days when I drop EVERYTHING. If I may ask, about how much would one of these telescoping magnet thingies cost? It would be great if I could find a reasonably priced pick-up-thingy and worth a trip to an auto-parts store. Thank you.

He said he does not remember the price. It was not very expensive, in the neighborhood of $3 or $4. Mine is a shiny metal with a pocket clip like a pen.l

I would call that affordable. Thank you for the tip. I’ll let you know how it works out for me.
