I use a pencil and write my measurements on wooden clothespins for my quilt block pieces & strips so that when I have everything cut I can just clip the clothespins to each segment to keep everything organized. This has been a big help! Then I just erase the measurments when I am done for using in the next project, :-)

Good tip...I keep clothespins in my sewing room to "pin" leather seams too [or anything that pins won't work on, or pin holes would permanently damage].
