Featured in the PR book! |
Sew a 1/2" button on the inside of the underneath layer - near the edge just at or above kneelevel (this works for me).
Sew another 1/2" button at the same level to the side seam allowance. With the skirt inside out, lay it flat so that both buttons are showing. Cut a piece of buttonhole elastic long enough to button on both buttons and still lie flat without stretching. I love the ease of wrap skirts and this trick helps to keep them manageable without taking away from the wearing ease |
God idea!

I love my wrap skirts but every time I wear them, one hand is committed to holding them closed! This sounds like a great idea.
