This is for the sewing/serger foot controller that keeps slipping away. I showed my DH the ones I could order. He said just use a piece of adhesive sandpaper on the back of the foot controller, and it shouldn't slide. I traced the bottom of the foot controller, curved the corners, peeled the adhesive, and stuck it on the back of the presser feet. Then, I tried it, lo and behold, it works! Thanks to my DH woodworker.
Sorry, I edited from "presser foot" to "foot controller", is what the machine manual calls it.I was sewing, and added this tip quickly.. |
What kind of floors does this work with? I don't think it would be good for wood floors.

StitchMD, No, this would be on carpet, or a rug; but it is not rough enough to damage it. Miine are working great now, wish I had done it sooner!

Thanks for the this tip, I have wood floors and use an old mouse pad to keep the foot pedal from moving all around. I'll remember this if I ever get carpeting in my sewing room.

Sorry for the typos and double post. I'm not sure how to delete it. :)
