This year I was lucky enough to attend the Puyallup Expo - it was wonderful!
There were four floors of vendors and everyone was represented: pattern companies ( my favs were LaFred, Sewing Workshop, LJ Designs, Silhouette) many fabric vendors for both clothing or quilting sewists, some lovely yarn shops, some great notions vendors -Clothilde, Nancy's Notions, a professional sewer's notions vendor (don't know her name but I have seen her at local trade shows) to name just a few, Sewing Machine companies, Embroidery machine companies, Quilting machine companies... and of course, 4 days of seminars....
I was supposed to go on Friday but I was still suffering from a head cold, so I had to forfeit the 3 seminars I had signed up for :( However, I did get to go on Sunday and was overwhelmed by the choices presented.
The Puyallup is so far superior to the Clearwater Expo I attended last year; it has at least four times the number of vendors and seminars as the Clearwater one, and the tickets are cheaper, too!
You can have a great time browsing and buying at the Puyallup Expo even if you can't go to any of the seminars. My head is still spinning from all the delightful creative things I saw... |
